Investigating - We have identified an issue impacting the success rates of ABSA transactions through Instant EFT. We are working to implement a fix as soon as possible. This will impact a large proportion of customers paying from ABSA through Instant EFT. All other payment methods are operating correctly.

Monitoring - There is an issue affecting our ability to receive Standard Bank payments affected through the "Manual" mechanism of Instant EFT. "Auto" or "Assisted" Instant EFT payments are unaffected. We urge clients to make use of the "Auto" payment option rather. All other payment methods are unaffected. We will monitor for when the situation is corrected.

Monitoring - FNB have been unable to resolve this issue in a timely manner, but we have developed a workaround which renders payments from FNB clients for Instant EFT operational once again. We are monitoring the workaround.

Investigating - We have detected issues on the MasterPass banking interface which is resulting in very low success rates on Debit Card transactions.
Initial investigations are pointing at upstream issues resulting in bad gateway errors.
PayFast has engaged with Masterpass and is looking to obtain resolution as soon as possible. We advise all clients to utilize alternate payment methods such as EFT or Credit Cards in the interim as these are all unaffected.
