BankservAfrica 3D Secure Failover Testing Oct 23, 00:05 - Oct 24, 00:05 SAST
In preparation for Black Friday and the high volume period BankservAfrica will be conducting a scheduled disaster recovery exercise for 3D Secure. They will be running on their secondary systems for a period of 24 hours. There will be a brief period of interruption when switching between sites, but otherwise, no impact is expected.

Identified - We are receiving timeouts to our 3D Secure requests to BankservAfrica for Nedbank issued cards. We have escalated the matter to them and await resolution. Payment processing for Nedbank issue cards will be affected until this matter is resolved.

Monitoring - FNB internet banking is down for maintenance as is fairly normal for a Sunday morning. This will affect Instant EFT payments from FNB. Auto / Assisted payments as well as Manual payments may be affected. Once FNB has completed their maintenance, the system will revert to normal operation.

Identified - We are experiencing an issue with access to FNB for the processing of "manual" EFT payments. This will affect "manual" payments through Instant EFT. "Automatic" or "assisted" payments are unaffected. We are working on the issue and access will be restored as soon as possible.
